Took my diabetic daughter her for her carb cheat day and Henry the owner was very friendly and helped me with figuring out her carbs. No other Waukesha restaurants do that. My daughter had a bacon cheese burger she said was very fresh. We had onion rings and cheese curds with ranch were really good. Burger and all ingredients seemed very fresh. Henry also threw in some ice cream for my daughter... How sweet. We will be back soon. Atmosphere is friendly and laid back. Retro music is fun. Cheeseburger seats are cool too.

Good selection of food from burgers to appetizers you’d expect from a custard shop. The mushroom Swiss burger was good and the fried mushrooms were a good portion. There’s a few arcade machines and claw machines to entertain you while you wait.

Service was friendly! We went right at opening and I feel like maybe the night crew didn’t clean too well- floors were sticky and visibly dirty around our table. The decor is cute and they have arcade games. Fries were delicious and I liked the local soda choices. My husband and I both got burgers and did not like them. I don’t think they were prepared wrong- just not to our personal tastes. The meat seemed majorly lacking in seasoning and the patty had a taste and texture that reminded me of school cafeteria burgers. We will certainly try again for a non burger meal- they have other good looking options, especially the mozzarella sticks.

We had a last minute change in dinner plans and wanted to check it out and we’re so glad we did! Everything we had was SO good - the burger was top notch and perfect. The fires were delicious and we finished up our meal with ice cream. We will definitely stop in often. The cost can add up quickly but it’s worth it. (Pictured our half eaten cheese curds because they were too good to stop for a photo)

Had dinner for the first time at Sweet Dreams in Waukesha. It was really good. The Philly cheese steak and mozzarella wraps were delicious. The PB Lovers sundae was delicious too. They have sodas from Brew City, which were great. They have around 30 different shake/malt flavors. They also serve soup, which we didn't get to try yet.

Long review ahead, TLDR: Great food, great service, deserves your money and you should go out of your way to eat here. Place is absolutely awesome. Got tenders, hand cut fries, some mozzarella rolls and a malt. The tenders were battered and had a light crispy texture, not too thick and the portion was filling enough on it's own. Really good flavor and no oily feeling which was also really nice. The hand cut fries were awesome, they seemed to be seasoned because they had a really nice taste, and they were some long fries. They had a texture similar to like a steak fry or a belgian fry and weren't too salty. Those mozz rolls were awesome and I had it with marinara. I think for me personally I'd prefer them to be multiple smaller wonton wrappers rather than a full sized eggroll wrapper, but they were delicious and had a subtle sprinkle of parm on top. And for the malt, you have the option of vanilla, chocolate or both and can add any custard topping you want kinda like Kopps or a Culver's concrete mixer. I had a vanilla caramel and marshmallow fluff malt, and that thing was incredible. I personally would've preferred more of the actual malt in the mixture, but it was genuinely one of the best shakes I've ever had. And the actual restaurant itself is really well decorated and has these cool graphic designs on the walls and a couple of arcade machines and claw machines. I was shocked it was empty when I went in but thankfully business picked up before I left, this place deserves some regular traction. And I didn't get the guy's name behind the counter, but he was a really chill dude, service was really great. All in all, can't wait to go back, place definitely deserves your business. EDIT: Just went back today 11/16/25, fiancee came with and got the gyro and we got the onion rings and curds. Curds are probablyy favorite since moving here, not too chewy or rubbery, good crispy texture and the flavor is great. The onion rings are battered and taste great. Really nice crunch and the size of them are generous. And she really enjoyed her gyro, well seasoned and the tzatziki was very good. Definitely gonna be coming here often.
